Following the success of UAE Innovation Week 2015 and 2016, UAE Innovates was announced to celebrate “innovation” across the nation. The festival aims to:

• Contribute to strengthening the country's position as a global hub for innovation
• Enhance the development of innovative ideas and capabilities, and creates a widespread culture of innovation
• Celebrate innovation in the UAE and supports the national innovation strategy
